Organising your spray tan business before high season
Share
Organising your spray tan business before high season is a great idea because it allows you to prepare and capitalise on the increased demand.
By getting ahead of the rush, you can ensure that your business operations, marketing strategies and supplies are all in place. This positions you to efficiently meet customer needs, provide excellent service, and maximise your profits during the peak season.
To maximise profits during peak season for your spray tan business, consider the following strategies:
1. Pricing: Analyse market trends and adjust your pricing to reflect the increased demand and most importantly your experience. If you have less than 1 years' experience, to succeed you must be competitive to gain a following. Consider offering package deals like BRING YOUR BESTIE FREE or discounts to incentivise customers to choose your business over competitors. Always ask these clients to leave you a review and get high quality, clear shots with no filter. This shows potential, future clients that you do use great solution and you are a great spray tan artist. Studies show, using filters on your photos may show that you are hiding the real quality of work.
2. Marketing and Promotion: Increase your marketing efforts to attract new customers and remind existing ones of your services. Utilise social media, targeted advertising, email marketing, and partnerships with local businesses to expand your reach.
3. Upselling and Add-On Services: Offer additional products that complement spray tanning, such as a gradual tan (tan extender) or Tan Kits for their travels.
4. Efficiency: Optimise scheduling and streamline operations to minimise wait times and maximise the number of clients served.
5. Customer Loyalty Programs: Implement a loyalty program to encourage repeat business. Offer rewards, discounts, or special perks for frequent customers, motivating them to choose your business over competitors.
6. Upscale or Specialised Services: Consider offering premium or specialised services, such as our 90-minute, rinse and instant wear tans. This option can attract a higher-end clientele and command word of mouth referrals.
7. Customer Experience: Focus on providing exceptional customer service to enhance the overall experience. Be knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive to customer needs. Positive word-of-mouth can lead to increased bookings and referrals.
Remember, maximising profits during peak season requires careful planning, efficient operations, effective marketing, and a focus on customer satisfaction.
If you are using more than 60ml on a double coat tan, I can help you reduce that, as this high amount of solution used will eat into your expenditures. I use 40ml per double coat with my metal HVLP gun. I use an airbrush technique with minimal atomisation. I can help you bring your double coat tans to 50ml if you're a Miami Glow Customer. You should be getting 20 spray tans out of every bottle if you have been trained correctly.
